Yes. It is a leave-on serum intended for use on a dry scalp after washing. You can style your hair normally afterward. Avoid applying it to a wet scalp, as water reduces the residence time of the matrix.

The sustained-release character of the serum comes from published work that used a sodium alginate hydrogel with 2-deoxy-D-ribose. The matrix is a deliberate delivery choice so the product can remain on the scalp between washes.
